From balancing across floating pontoons and kayaking on the lake to teaming up for exciting Lazer Tag missions, there’s plenty of action, laughs and friendly competition along the way.

What's Included:

• 30-Minute Walk, Change & Safety Briefing: Start with a walk to Splash Zone, time to change into swimming gear and a full safety briefing before hitting the water.
• 45 Minutes of Splash Zone Fun: Take on Pontoon Mania and kayaking, with plenty of splashes, challenges and laughs along the way!
• 30-Minute Change & Walk Back: Dry off, get changed and make your way back to Basecamp ready for the next adventure.
• 45 Minutes of Lazer Tag Action: Split into teams and battle it out in a series of instructor-led Lazer Tag games and missions.
• 30-Minute Birthday Chill-Out: Finish under our rustic Parachute Tent, where the birthday crew can refuel and celebrate. Bring your own birthday cake, food, snacks and drinks - you bring the menu, we provide the party spot!

*** IMPORTANT: Lazer Tag cannot be played in very heavy rain. If weather conditions prevent Lazer Tag from going ahead, we will provide an alternative 45-minute activity that can take place in all weather conditions.

Two Activities. One Brilliant Birthday!

From making a splash to battling it out with friends, it’s a birthday packed with outdoor action from start to finish - and one they’ll be talking about long after it’s over!

• Cars can drive directly to the Alive Outside gate for drop-off and collection.
• Killruddery Estate has multiple entrances - ensure everyone follow signs for Alive Outside!

• Comfortable outdoor clothing: Dress for the weather and for plenty of active outdoor fun.
• Good footwear with grip: Trail runners are best, while astro boots also work well. No flip-flops.
• Old runners for Splash Zone: These are required for the water activities.
• Change of shoes: Bring a dry pair for Lazer Tag and the journey home.
• Wetsuit: If you have one - the lake can be chilly, even in summer!
• Towel: For drying off after Splash Zone.
• Warm change of clothes: A hoodie, tracksuit bottoms and other dry clothes for afterwards.
• Rain jacket: Irish weather - enough said!
• Backpack: To carry everything. Keep your dry clothes, towel and shoes in a plastic bag inside your backpack.
• Sun cream: Even on cloudy days.
• Food & Drink:
  • Plenty of Water – Hydration is key!
  • Birthday Cake, Snacks or Treats – The Birthday Menu is up to you!

• Instructor-led health & safety briefing
• 45 minutes of Splash Zone (Pontoon Mania and kayaking) and 45 minutes of Lazer Tag 
• Full supervision from trained instructors
• 30-minute Woodland Chill-Out Area after the activities for birthday celebrations!

CANCELLATION POLICY

• Final Numbers & Payment: Final participant numbers must be confirmed and paid in full at least 7 days before your visit. You can update your numbers and pay any outstanding balance online up until this deadline.
• Staffing & Resources: Once numbers are confirmed, we allocate instructors, equipment, facilities and schedule slots to your group. As capacity is reserved and other groups may be turned away, we cannot refund late cancellations or no-shows.
• No Pay-on-the-Day: We do not offer “pay-on-the-day” options for group bookings. Our operations rely on advance planning to ensure safety, quality and a smooth experience for every group.
• Accuracy of Numbers: Please ensure your participant numbers are correct at the 7-day deadline. Refunds cannot be given - and additional children cannot be added - after this point.

CHECK-IN POLICY

• Arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for parking, getting organised, and preparing for your session
• Allow extra travel time, as the Bray area and Southern Cross Road can be very busy - particularly on weekends.
• Check-in starts exactly at your scheduled time, so please arrive promptly to make the most of your experience.
• Your instructor will begin with a Health & Safety briefing and an overview of the activities, then guide you to the bag drop area before bringing you to the Start Line.
• Late arrivals may have reduced activity time due to scheduling requirements.
• Hand sanitiser stations are available throughout the venue—please use them as needed.
• If any participant has a medical condition (e.g., asthma, hay fever, diabetes), please inform your instructor before starting.

SPLASH ZONE SAFETY

• Basic changing rooms are available for changing afterwards, but keep in mind that Killruddery is a working farm, so don't expect luxury!
• Make sure everyone brings a towel, a full change of clothes and suitable footwear, as shoes must be worn at all times, including in the water.
• A lifeguard will fit each child with a buoyancy aid, which is mandatory for everyone, regardless of swimming ability.
• Lifeguards are then stationed on the bank and in the water on kayaks to ensure safety.

FINAL NUMBERS
To secure your group's date and time, simply purchase a minimum of 20 tickets. Please confirm your final numbers and settle any remaining balance at least 7 working days before the booking so we can arrange the right number of instructors and lifeguards.

WAIVER FORMS
Each child attending will need a signed digital waiver. Follow the instructions in your confirmation email to share the weblink with other parents. For health and safety, only children with completed waiver forms can join the activities.

FOOD & DRINK OPTIONS
This package includes 30 minutes under a rustic Parachute Tent, complete with seating and benches for the kids to enjoy their food. Whether you bring birthday cake, snacks, a mix of treats or get pizza delivered (eg Dominos Bray 01 2828888) - it's completely up to you to decide on the menu for your celebration!

KILLRUDDERY YARD
During your visit, don’t miss a chance to stop by Killruddery Yard – just a quick 2-minute walk from our Adventure Centre. Open seven days a week, it offers something for everyone with its Coffee Shop, Pizza Shed, The Grain Store and Farm Shop. WHEN YOU GET HOME
Make sure all the children shower and change into fresh clothes once they’re back home. Wash all clothing thoroughly before wearing again.
