Total Time Onsite = 2.5 hours

  1. Arrival & Check-In: Arrive 15 minutes before your start time to allow for parking, toilet breaks and organisation.
  2. Health & Safety Briefing: Short briefing to ensure everyone knows what to expect.
  3. The Challenge (1.5–2 hours): Tackle the 5-7KM instructor-led course at a strong team pace, combining running, lifting and problem-solving. No one is left behind and teamwork is required throughout.
  4. Woodland Chill-Out (30 minutes): Relax and refuel together in our Woodland Zone, with the option to bring your own snacks and drinks or arrange pizza delivery.
  • Buses and cars can drive directly to the Alive Outside gate for drop-off and collection.
  • Killruddery Estate has multiple entrances - ensure drivers follow signs for Alive Outside!

CHECK-IN POLICY

  • Arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for parking, getting organised, and preparing for your session
  • Allow extra travel time, as the Bray area and Southern Cross Road can be very busy—particularly on weekends.
  • Check-in starts exactly at your scheduled time, so please arrive promptly to make the most of your experience.
  • Your instructor will begin with a Health & Safety briefing and an overview of the activities, then guide you to the bag drop area before bringing you to the Start Line.
  • Late arrivals may have reduced activity time due to scheduling requirements.
  • Hand sanitiser stations are available throughout the venue—please use them as needed.
  • If any participant has a medical condition (e.g., asthma, hay fever, diabetes), please inform your instructor before starting.

Cancel Policy

  • All participant numbers must be confirmed at least 7 days before your trip to Alive Outside. This allows us to invoice your school and plan effectively.
  • Once numbers are confirmed, we allocate staff and resources - including instructors, access to obstacles and facilities, and slots in our daily schedule. As we reserve capacity and turn away other school groups, last-minute cancellations or no-shows cannot be refunded.
  • Changes between activities cannot be made on the day.
  • We do not offer “pay-on-the-day” options for School Tour bookings. Our operations rely on advance planning to ensure safety, quality and a smooth experience for every group.
  • We operate rain or shine - dress for the Irish weather! If Met Éireann issues an orange weather warning, we will contact you to discuss alternative arrangements.

  • During activities, teachers are welcome to explore Killruddery Yard (Coffee Shop, Pizza Shed & Farm Shop), a short 5-minute walk away, but they must remain contactable at all times in case of any disciplinary matters or emergencies.

  • Participants are welcome to explore Killruddery Yard before or after the event, which features a Coffee Shop, Pizza Shed, and Farm Shop.

FINAL NUMBERS
To secure your group's date and time, simply purchase a minimum of 10 tickets. Please confirm your final numbers and settle any remaining balance at least 7 working days before the booking so we can arrange the right number of instructors.

WAIVER FORMS
Each participant will need a signed digital waiver. Follow the instructions in your confirmation email to share the weblink with the participants. For health and safety reasons, only those with completed waiver forms will be able to take part.

FOOD & DRINK OPTIONS
This package includes 30 minutes in a Woodland Hangout Area, complete with seating and benches for everyone to chill out and relax after their adventure. Bring your own drinks or snack – or order pizza to be delivered (eg Dominos Bray 01 2828888) – it’s completely up to you what's on the menu!

KILLRUDDERY YARD
During your visit, don’t miss a chance to stop by Killruddery Yard – just a quick 2-minute walk from our Adventure Centre. Open seven days a week, it offers something for everyone with its Coffee Shop, Pizza Shed, The Grain Store and Farm Shop. CHANGING FACILITIES
Our changing facilities are in keeping with our rustic, outdoor setting – think charming rural farm vibes! While they’re not luxurious, they’re practical, with basic wash-down areas to rinse your hands and space to change into warm, dry clothes after your adventure.

WHEN YOU GET HOME
Make sure all participants shower once they’re back home. Wash all clothing thoroughly before wearing again.

HEALTH & SAFETY
All activities have been carefully reviewed by our Health and Safety consultants, with procedures in place to ensure a safe experience for both participants and instructors.

 

  • Teachers are very welcome to join in the activities!
  • This activity lasts between 2 and 2.5 hours (depending on fitness) so, including 30 mins for lunch afterwards, your group will be onsite for 3 hours in total. 
  • All activities have been fully risk-assessed by Alive Outside's Health & Safety consultant.
  • Alive Outside is located on a working farm so, when they get home, all students should shower, change into fresh clothes and wash worn clothing thoroughly before reuse.
